Flower Delivery FAQ's

  • What are your opening hours?
  • Our opening hours are Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm, and Sunday 10am-2pm
  • Do you offer same day delivery?
  • Yes, the Blue Rose offer same day delivery to all Dublin postcodes once the order is placed before 2pm. If an order is received after 2pm the delivery will be next day.  We also offer next day delivery nationwide.
  • Where is your shop based?
  • Our shop is based in Raheny, Dublin 5. Our address is Woodfall House, Unit 2, Watermill Road, Raheny, Dublin 5.
  • How do I place an order?
  •   You can place your order in different ways. You may do it via our website, or alternatively you can give us a call directly from Ireland 01 832 8881. You can also call from outside of Ireland on +353 1 832 8881
  • Can I add extras to my flower order?
  • Yes. We offer a variety of extras that can be purchased alongside one of our beautiful flower bouquets. We offer luxury boxes of chocolates in different sizes, as well as teddy bears in multiple sizes. Our other options include bottles of Prosecco, Personalised cards for all occasions, and colourful balloons that are sure to add to whatever occasion you are celebrating.
  • What payment options do you accept for flower delivery?
  • We accept all major debit and credit cards and also cash payments if you are in store.
  • Are your consumable products allergy free?
  • Please note regarding consumable products, ingredients vary and are subject to change depending on the supplier. The Blue Rose cannot be held responsible for any allergy or food intolerance etc. arising from the consumption of same.
  • Do you deliver on Sundays?
  • No, we do not deliver on Sundays. We deliver Monday to Saturday (excluding bank holidays) in any Dublin postcode or area. 
  • Can you deliver flowers to a business addresses?Yes, but please bear in mind when we deliver to a business address we are only permitted to deliver to a reception or post room area. The flowers will then need to be dealt with internally to reach the right recipient.
  • Can you deliver flowers to a hospital?
  •  Most hospitals no longer accept flowers on certain wards and some may refuse flowers entirely. They are not allowed into ICU’s. We recommend contacting the hospital to      check this before ordering a flower delivery. Please also note we will only deliver to a reception/post room area of the hospital. We cannot be held responsible for how the flowers are dealt with internally or if refused altogether.
  • Where do your flowers come from?
  •  Our flowers are sourced from the finest farms in Holland, and are delivered fresh so that you only get the highest quality flowers from us.
  • What kind of flower arrangements do you do?
  • Our professional florists can do different kinds of flower arrangements – handtied bouquet, flower centrepieces or in a vase, in hatboxes, corsage and boutonniere, garland or flower necklace, flower crown and they can even customize according to your preference. If you have any special requests for a flower delivery, please do not hesitate to give us a call. We would love to be of assistance.
  • Can I cancel my order?
  •  We usually require 48 hours’ notice prior to your delivery date so we can make sure your order is not dispatched.
  • Will I receive an order confirmation for my flower delivery?
  • Yes! Once you have placed your order we will send confirmation of all the details to the email address you have provided. This can sometimes take up to 10 minutes.
  • Can I use PayPal to pay for flower delivery?
  •  Yes, we accept PayPal and all major Credit Cards.
  • What should I do if my online purchase is not going through?
  •  Please give our customer services a call on 01 832 8881. We may be able to pick up the order where you left off, and we may try to complete the transaction manually.
